An instantly recognisable actor particularly as David Horton in the internationally popular VICAR of DIBLEY. Earlier he played Lionel in 4 series of BBC's BRUSH STROKES and over the years has appeared in dozens and dozens of television programmes. For Royal Shakespeare Co. he has been a principal player at Stratford upon Avon, London's W. End and Broadway in New York. Several other West End appearances include most recently Sondheim's INTO THE WOODS at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Films include ZEPPELIN, THE CHAIN, and SIR HENRY AT RAWLINSON END.
