| A goat pen Malawi Dream has funded |
|
Our Goals for 2008:
To provide pumped clean water for drinking, washing and cooking.
To eradicate malaria from the island of Likoma by raising enough money to provide mosquito nets and medicines to all the
12 villages. We will need an estimated £20,000 for this.
To create medical programs and the treatments needed to help fight against the main killers in Malawi which are TB, HIV,
Aids and starvation. We will need around £50,000 to start this.
In addition to the above, we are about to fully sponsor a Mbungo student named Jacob who is about to embark upon a 4 year
nursing degree. When he has qualified, Jacob will return to Mbungo to work at the local hospital, Saint Peters.
To raise funds we will host hope a Malawi Dream Ball at Middle Temple 19th September 2008. With the money raised we hope
to replicate the projects set up in Mbungo village in the remaining 11 villages on Likoma
